Learn by Doing

We are seamlessly connected with each other. We rely on others for most everything. The cars we drive, the food we eat, those who build the houses in which we dwell. In this world, we are born depending on someone to provide us with the essentials of life. The way you make your living is usually to provide others with some product or service. We humans are interdependent. We need each other. The rest of our world is the same. Plants need water, water needs land, animals need both, and we need the whole of nature to insure a stable environment. Everything works together like a grand symphony orchestra.

Our world is not the product of some chaotic explosion called “the Big Bang.” It was created by the guidance of a higher intelligence. There is order in all things, and a purpose for their being. We are not able understand the “whys” of everything because they occur beyond our knowledge. I believe this greater intelligence has put together a magnificent classroom for us to observe, and learn from the guiding principles of this great adventure.

Scientists have discovered many of the rules and regulations governing our world. We call them physical laws: Universal Gravitation; Laws of Motion; Conservation of Mass and Energy; Thermodynamics; and Electrostatic Laws to name a few. These principles are universal. Think what would happen if “Universal Gravitation” would suddenly stop functioning. Our planet would cease to exist; but I know of no one worrying this will happen. We take these things for granted. They are dependable gifts from a mysterious intelligent source.

As there are physical laws, there are also “rules” of personal interaction. However, since we have free choice; breaking or bending the rules does happen. But not without consequences. Corruption, scamming, and conflict are universal on planet earth. Kindness, compassion, and empathy are also universal on planet earth. The choice is for each of us, and the consequences of those choices transform us. They can make our life a living hell, or a thing of great beauty.

The formula is simple. Harm others and you harm yourself. Help others and you help yourself. This law is as sure as the law of gravity. No one can escape the inevitable consequences of their own actions.

Near Death Experiences, a Sign of the Soul?

End-of-Life Brain Activity – A Sign of the Soul?

By Stuart Hameroff, MD and Deepak Chopra, MD

The idea that conscious awareness can exist after death, generally referred to as the ‘soul’, has been inherent in Eastern and Western religions for thousands of years. In addition to spiritual accounts, innumerable subjective reports of conscious awareness seemingly separated from the subject’s brain and physical body occur in conjunction with so-called near death experiences (NDEs) in patients resuscitated after cardiac arrest (1,2). Such patients describe remarkably consistent phenomenology including a white light, being in a tunnel, serenity, deceased loved ones, life review and, in some cases, floating out of the body (out-of-body experiences – OBEs). Comparable experiences have been reported in various types of meditative and altered states, traumatic psychological events, or seemingly without cause. A Gallup poll estimated some 10 million Americans have reported NDEs/OBEs…..

Quote by Gisl

LAUGH when you can, its tinkling reverberates thru out the universe as music to all souls and we are blessed and refreshed as in cleansing rain.

SMILE too for that brings rainbows after any storm.

And BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTs, well, it is the sunshine that gives light and reminds us that where there is Light, there is LOVE and that it is eternal and heals ALL.

May you always have Laughter, Smiles, and Beautiful Thoughts, along with the Joy and awareness that you are precious to all…God bless you.
Hugs, Gisl

Creation

Everything is energy, E=mc2. All energy is sentient, conscious. All consciousness is sentient energy. All configurations of consciousness are held together by an attractive force called Love. The sum total of everything, is the Creator, sometimes called God. God is therefore conscious love. God is Love. The tools of consciousness used in creation are thoughts impelled by emotions.

Because God is conscious love, all of God’s creations are conscious love, created in the likeness of God. Everything in the spiritual, and physical planes, are conscious love. The Universe, the earth, and all the parts and elements thereof are conscious. All creation is a holograph. Where the whole contains the parts, and the parts contain the whole. We live within God as God lives within us.

Creation is top-down. First becoming in the spirit world and moving down into the physical world. All things being spiritual first, we are created spiritually, then when our time comes, given the opportunity to incarnate into the physical for further growth.

We are created in the spiritual world as a “spark” of consciousness. Our task is to grow our vernal consciousness into a wise spiritual “Being” capable of helping to expand the perimeters of the spiritual world, pushing back the darkness (void) with light, and co-creating with God as part of the Oneness of all things.

Now if you are reading this you have incarnated into the physical world for further growth. You have free will to choose the path you will follow. You will use the tools of your consciousness, namely your thoughts and emotions.

There are only two paths, but the ramifications of each path number in the trillions. The paths are love and fear. The love path is positive, full of kindness, caring, and compassion. The fear path is negative, full of anxiety, anger, and suffering.

Most walk a bit in both paths, usually favoring one over the other. The physical world is a classroom for learning about using your thoughts and emotions to choose events beneficial to yourself and others. You get feedback in the form of peace and calm for the positive path; worry and turmoil for the negative path.

The idea is to become who you already are, thereby knowing yourself. You are the invisible “I am” consciousness inhabiting a physical body. A spiritual Being having a physical experience. You are also part of the Oneness of all things. This means others are also a part of the Oneness. To harm another is to harm yourself. That is the reason for the golden rule. “Treat others as you want to be treated.”

In order to grow spiritually one must treat others honestly, and kindly all the time. This requires control of thoughts and emotions. Not suppressing them, but understanding them, you can’t fake spiritual growth, just doesn’t work.

Read the master teachers, read self-help books, do affirmations, make friends with others on the spiritual path. But most of all understand you are creating your own reality everyday with your thoughts and emotions. If you don’t like your present reality then change your thoughts and emotions, and wait for your reality to change with them.
