This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. On a recent edition of Coast to Coast AM, a woman who had written a book about her NDE and how it had changed her life was interviewed. I have read many accounts of NDE’s and in only a few cases have I found people saying some of the exact things I have experienced.
This woman said when she visited “Heaven” there was a line of people waiting to be “reborn”. She stated she believed our souls are reborn to “purify” the soul. I also was told that we are “reborn” to live another physical life. I have always been a skeptic, and one afternoon a slide show of sorts was played for me as I was sitting in a chair. I kept seeing these people one after another, people I had never seen before. I was curious of why these people were shown to me and I asked to see more of these people. Suddenly I was no longer looking at a picture of someone, but I was suddenly that person, me in a past life. So after a few of these experiences, I was a believer in what I had been told. I must be a slow learner as far as purity of soul is concerned because I was shown more pictures of past lives than I could count. I was also shown who I will be in my next life, my name, place of birth and also my ‘new’ family. This may sound strange, but I can only tell of what I have been told and shown.
I do believe our physical life is a schooling of sorts, as we learn life’s lessons and how to be a more compassionate and loving person. After my last NDE I am only full of compassion for all of mankind. My spirit is full of love that almost explodes to get out. I never had this overwhelming feeling within me before my NDE.
Another thing she said that rang true to me was that she now had the ability to look into a persons soul. She said she had always considered herself to be psychic, but now it was enhanced. I too was given this gift about 7 years after my last NDE. I have never been ‘psychic’ in any way before my NDE. The eyes are the gateway to the soul, a glance into the eyes of someone shows their soul in a flash. The first time I did this I was a little afraid of what I was seeing, it’s like knowing everything about a perfect stranger, a little unsettling, I almost felt like I was invading their privacy, but now it is just something I do without even thinking about it.
Most all I have seen are similar in that there is a little good and a little bad, what I now consider an average soul. There have been a couple I have seen that only emanate evil. I literally shake in their physical presence and quickly move away from them. One individual was only radiating love and compassion, almost overwhelming and I couldn’t stop looking into this soul. The only other time I have felt this much love and compassion was when I was in the physical presence of our Brothers in the realm I have no name for. I have often wondered why this one individual was so pure, so overwhelming, was this one of our Brothers? I don’t know, but I have not encountered another similar soul since.
In 2009 I was given the most wonderful of gifts, the emotion of ‘hate’ was removed from my soul. You may say you do not have hate within you, but all do at some level and until it is removed from your soul you cannot understand what a big difference it is to live without that one emotion. Much of your lives actions are dictated by this one emotion that lies in all physical souls. When I was with our Brothers is the only other time hate was not a part of me.
It’s interesting that while I was with our Brothers my physical body seemed insignificant, of no importance at all, for I was back where I had come from. Physical life is a gift for all souls to enjoy and learn from.
Going to bring forward a few near death experiences so they will get read. There are some things about NDEs that are not readily understood.
Most near death experiencers report the following components:
Notice they are out of their body.
Seeing a bright golden Light.
Feeling surrounded by love and compassion.
Having access to great knowledge.
Seeing and talking to deceased relatives.
Seeing and talking to a Light Being.
The Light Being sending them back into their body.
The Light can be brighter than the Sun, but it doesn’t hurt their eyes to look at it. Some say the Light is Love and permeates everything including them. Some believe the Light is God. A few feel the Light shows the Oneness of all things which is God.
Experiencers have many questions, and they are answered as quickly as they think of them. All communication happens in the mind. It is a thought process.
Many experiencers see deceased relatives and talk to them. Some relatives they meet in the Light may not be known to them. Great grandfathers, and such.
Light Beings are seen by experiencers through the knowledge acquired in the physical. I attended a spiritual session on forgiveness through lucid dreaming. I saw the Light Being teacher as Jesus, but quickly realized by the questions being asked that others saw Him as God, Allah, Buddha, or Moses. They saw Him through the religion they practiced.
This blog contains over 600 posts. Most of the serious posts are on Near Death Experiences. In total, they prove beyond doubt that NDEs are real spiritual experiences, and that we live after the death of our bodies. The experiences have been researched by many doctors and scientists that come to the same conclusion.
This NDE knowledge is both liberating and uplifting. It is a huge benefit to those who have had the experience or done research on them. They impart knowledge beyond the physical and bring hope to those who have lost it. Our society needs this knowledge now more than ever to ameliorate the rising tide of suicides in our country. You can find over 300 NDEs on my “Thoughtful Living” website. This blog is part of, and attached to my website.
Years ago I read an article about a suicide counselor that assigned the reading of Near Death Experiences to his patients. Among those patients who actually read the experiences, 40% of them never attempted suicide again. Then I heard, nor read, nothing more about this subject again. I would hope someone would try to duplicate this research.
Some of the serious posts are self-help articles. An attempt to improve the self-confidence and the self-love of those who read them. There are also posts for entertainment and knowledge. Then quotes, lots of quotes.
I have a Category Page that lists all the posts on this blog. Please look it over to see if the title of some post would interest you.
How do we stop people from killing themselves? I believe negative thoughts held by troubled people may finally overwhelm them and turn into suicidal action. They need help to change those negative thoughts into positive ones.
There must a million reasons why people become potential suicides. Sickness, style of life, acculturation, bullying, isolation, alienation, etc., etc. But, it is far more important to ameliorate the condition than to study it.
Thoughts are the path to human activity. We think first and then we act, even if sometimes that seems impossible when noting the outcome of some of our actions. Thoughts are powerful inducements for action. If you never consider suicide you will never commit suicide.
If you connect with a thought often enough it will become a belief. Beliefs are frozen thought. Then beliefs become the knowledge which forms our outlook on life. Whether thoughts, beliefs, or knowledge are true or false is our take on them. I suspect everyone has some knowledge that is true and some false, without knowing which is which.
Changing negative thoughts into positive ones will, over time, create new beliefs with a more positive outlook on life. This process will allow you to cope with the problems of life. Life is neither negative nor positive by nature. We make it negative or positive through our attitudes. How we choose to react to a given problem shapes that problem into a minor annoyance or a major crises.
The most common way to change negative thought patterns is to do affirmations on a daily basis. The idea is to develop trust and confidence in yourself and others. It will sometimes be necessary to do affirmations that you believe are false. Here you consider the positive value of the affirmation as opposed to your negative belief, and choose your path. That path will determine the outcome.
Another method that may help is reading about “Near Death Experiences.” Between ten and twelve million Americans have experienced NDEs. These experiences have the ability to change lives overnight. Reading them will increase your knowledge of what happens after death.
