In total, they prove beyond doubt that NDEs are real spiritual experiences, and that we live after the death of our bodies. The experiences have been researched by many doctors and scientists that come to the same conclusion. This NDE knowledge is both liberating and uplifting. It is a huge benefit to those who have had the experience or done research on them. They impart knowledge beyond the physical and bring hope to those who have lost it. Our society needs this knowledge now more than ever to ameliorate the rising tide of suicides in our country. You can find over 300 NDEs on my “Thoughtful Living” website. This blog is part of, and attached to my website. Years ago I read an article about a suicide counselor that assigned the reading of Near Death Experiences to his patients. Among those patients who actually read the experiences, 40% of them never attempted suicide again. Then I heard, nor read, nothing more about this subject again. I would hope someone would try to duplicate this research. Some of the serious posts are self-help articles. An attempt to improve the self-confidence and the self-love of those who read them. I get emotional when thinking about this great country of ours. A country of law and equality for all people. America has always been great and will continue to be as long as its people stand up for its guiding principles. The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and division of power has served us well over the years. I grew up during WWII. It was different then. People were kinder and more united in winning. Everyone worked in the war effort. On coming home from school I got out my little red wagon and walked the neighborhood collecting newspaper, scrap metal, rubber bands, anything that could be recycled. Many children helped in this way. Income taxes were high, as much as 80 to 90 percent on the very rich. I heard no complaints, our country was focused and united. Factories ran 24/7 and my dad was the lead machinist in one of them. He would work 10 hours and then get called back at 3am to help with problems. He didn’t complain, he loved this country. Now, we don’t need another war to unite us. We just need to remember our roots, and what the founding fathers wanted for us. Greed is out-of-control. Some think they are entitled more than others. But, I am betting there are still plenty people of faith and love of country to unite us under the principles of constitutional law that made and keeps America great.
