This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. The signs are everywhere: war, famine, the apocalypse, armageddon, the end of the world. The signs are everywhere: peace proposals, food distribution to the poor, Habitat for Humanity, Good Neighbors, Good Will, good people doing good things. Which signs will you notice, the positive or the negative. I agree there are negative things in this world, but I choose to focus on the positive ones, and try to expand them. Talk about them, share them with others, and get involve with them. The more positive things you bring into your life the better off you will be.
“We signed to play until the day we died, and we did.”
What we are celebrating is life. Without life there is nothing. An ancient affirmation states: “Everyday in everyway, I’m getting better and better.” Therein lies the celebration of life. We come into the physical to learn about ourselves, to bring light and love to every dark corner of the planet. Each day we struggle with the problems and the teachings those problems present to us, and each night we celebrate our victory. Look for the joy, and humor, learn to laugh when things seem so serious. We are safe and secure. We are eternal, we are held forever in the loving embrace of our Creator.
“Fly free and happy beyond birthdays and across forever,
and we’ll meet now and then when we wish,
in the midst of the one celebration that never can end.”
Richard Bach, American Writer,
Author of “Jonathan Livingston Seagull.” 1936
Joy is the feeling you get after you have helped another. Smiling at others as you pass them on the street; holding the door open for someone in a wheelchair; taking time to say “how are you” and waiting for the answer; being patient with others; teaching an adult how to read; holding the hand of a frightened child; giving to those who ask; visiting a shut-in and offering to run an errand; visiting the sick in the hospital; being there at the moment of death. These things add up, the more you do, the more joy you feel. The more love you gather and hold.
“Joy in looking and comprehending is nature’s most beautiful gift.”
Albert Einstein, German-American physicist,
Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921, 1879-1955
Unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the good of others.
Real Love is unconditional, it is spiritual, it is the attractive force that holds everything together. Without love things fall apart: people, countries, the universe. Love is an attitude, a state of mind, the way we move through the world. Learning to love is not just the best way, it is the only way to spiritual growth. Learning to love is the highest calling of mankind. All master teachers, and great men have bid us to follow them. They have shown us the path of unconditional love. The more universal our love becomes the more powerful we grow spiritually.
“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.”
William Shakespeare, Dramatist and poet
considered to be the greatest English playwright, 1564-1616
