Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Think of Nature

Nature.

Humankind’s original or natural condition.

I read the story of a Native American lad who watched his grandfather walk down to a cold, clear stream of water every morning and look into the forest. “Grandfather would stare through the morning mist into the forest for a long time, and when he turned to come back to the lodge his eyes were filled with tears.” At first the lad thought his grandfather was sad, but came to understand it was just the opposite. Tears of joy ran down his grandfather’s cheeks, at the wonderment of nature. Spend some time with nature, even if it’s at the Zoo. There is a quieting, calming, peaceful effect of being in the woods, surrounded by trees, flowers and other beauty. Sitting for awhile where you become a part of the greatness of all things.

“One touch of nature makes the whole world kin.”

William Shakespeare, Dramatist and poet
considered to be the greatest English playwright, 1564-1616

Think of Timing

Timing.

To cause to keep time with something.

Being there at the right time, in the right place wins the prize. Many believe this kind of timing is luck, good fortune that comes to others, but never to them. But, that is wrong. Nary a day passes that doesn’t contain opportunities for us to grow, learn, and take advantage of the events happening around us. We don’t see them because we are not looking for them. We believe it can’t happen for us, so we give up and plod along with blinders obscuring our visions. Blinders are nothing but negative beliefs we need to change into positive beliefs. Start today, looking for your good fortune, believe in yourself. Whether you desire knowledge, wisdom or wealth know it is within your grasp on a daily basis.

Think of Divinity

Divinity.

Of, relating to, or proceeding directly from God.

You were created in the image of the Divine. You are perfect as the Divine is perfect. Within you is the light of the Divine waiting for you to discover and unfold its beauty. Don’t believe for another second that you are small or insignificant. You are a perfect child. Recognized your divinity, and start believing in yourself. Walk the spiritual path, loving others and yourself. You have no boundaries, no cage surrounds you. Look, learn, love and be happy in yourself, you are God’s eternal child.

“Every man is his own doctor of divinity in the last resort.”

Robert Louis Stevenson
Scottish essayist, poet, and author
of fiction and travel books, 1850-1894

Think of Guides

Guides.

Someone that provides a person with guiding information.

We all have guides in our teachers, parents, friends, and peers. Anyone that has information we need is a guide, a mentor. I want to bold the word guide. These people are our counselors, and advisors, we must make our own choices based on what we think is the best for us. Guides are not authorities that rule our lives. We also have spiritual guides that walk with us unseen at all times. Some people are aware of their guides, others are not. Spiritual guides “talk” to us through our feelings, and intuition, helping us to make the right decisions, decisions for love. We know when we have done something wrong, our guides remind us so we can correct ourselves in future events. Listen to your guide, pay attention to your feelings and intuitions.

“He made his conscience not his guide, but his accomplice.”
