Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. We Lost It!

Have you noticed over the years “customer service” has all but disappeared. I can remember when grocery stories had three employees manning the check-out stands.  The first unloaded your grocery cart, the second checked you out, and the third sacked your groceries, then put them in your car for you.  Now the grocery store wants you to do it all. I wonder when they will ask us to stock their shelves for them.

At the gas stations you were met by an attendant who cleaned your windows, checked your oil and tires, then pumped your gas. You didn’t have to get out of your car. Now you are expected to do it all.

But most irritating of all is to call a company and get a machine that runs commercials before they ask why you called, or what you want. Then keeps you waiting, and waiting. I have spent as long as forty minutes just trying to get a question answered.

Yes, we lost it. Someday some business will rediscover customer service and make a million.
