Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Check the boxes at the top of the page for the Contents, Contact, Forum and other links.

Think of Signs

Signs.

To make a sign or leave a signal.

The signs are everywhere: war, famine, the apocalypse, armageddon, the end of the world. The signs are everywhere: peace proposals, food distribution to the poor, Habitat for Humanity, Good Neighbors, Good Will, good people doing good things. Which signs will you notice, the positive or the negative. I agree there are negative things in this world, but I choose to focus on the positive ones, and try to expand them. Talk about them, share them with others, and get involve with them. The more positive things you bring into your life the better off you will be.

“We signed to play until the day we died, and we did.”

Spiritual Growth, Love

here are many elements one can use in order to achieve spiritual growth. I am going to discuss the various elements, and their importance. Spiritual and/or emotional growth is beneficial to everyone. Makes no difference whether you are a spiritual person or not. It is a process of gaining emotional maturity in order to live a better and more fulfilled life in the physical world.

The names of these elements are love, forgiveness, non-judging, integrity, and service. They may be divided into more, or condensed to fewer, but I will discuss them as they are shown.

Love is the most important of all. Learning to love yourself and others is the purpose of life. It makes everything else meaningful. The best way to do this is though affirmations. It makes no difference what your past was, or how much trouble you have experienced. The only place you can live is in the present now. Start with the understanding that you will make mistakes and accept yourself as you are right now. Listen to yourself, what you say, and how it affects others. Was what you said loving, and kind. Think about how you can improve your thoughts, words, and feelings about others. Learn to accept others, mistakes and all. No person living in this world will make the right decision everytime. As you become less critical of others you will become less critical of yourself.

Do affirmations on a regular basis daily. while it may seem boring, it is the best tool anyone has to change old habits and form new ones. It is the process of replacing old thoughts with new positive ones, and it does work over time. There is a section on affirmations on this site, but don’t feel limited by them. You can search the internet for more.

Here below is a good definition of what love really is, it will teach you what real unconditional love is about.

“Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love doesn’t demand its own way. It’s not irritable or touchy. It doesn’t hold grudges and will not notice when others do it wrong. It’s never glad about injustice, but rejoices in truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends”. — Saint Paul.

In further writings on spiritual growth I will discuss the other elements one at a time.

Why would anyone . . .

Why would anyone choose materialism as the only thing available in this world today. Materialism is nihilistic, dead-ended, without hope, meaning, or purpose. Materialism says we are accidents, created by a fortuitous random mix of chemicals, and developed into our present state through evolution. The universe created by the Big Bang.

When you could choose spiritualism. A belief in a loving Creator, who created it all. In spiritualism we are eternal, we have hope, and our lives have purpose and meaning. The good things we do will continue on with us into eternity. We have a reason for trying to improve ourselves and to grow in wisdom and knowledge. A reason to learn about ourselves and to love ourselves and others.

The choices are there. No one can prove for sure which is right. There is no solid evidence for either save what we hold in our hearts and mind. We were not in attendance at the beginning of this world and/or life. We can only read or study about what others assume happened.

I had a near death experience and saw the spirit world first-hand so the choice for me was decided not by my assumptions, but by my experience. I am a spiritual person, created by a Higher Intelligence that loves me, and gave me free will, and eternal life.
