Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Rediscovering

Gloomy clouds of desperation
billow through a bungled past.
Failed probabilities mangled
from a question left unasked.

Guilt straddles the back of heroes,
distraught over what might have been.
Anxiety contorts the soul,
what was, will never be again.

Hiding deep within the darkness,
cloaked with eons of denial.
A glimmer of serenity
whispers, madness is not final.

The grim prevailing ambiance
is not what it appears to be,
within it exists wisdom that
validates immortality.

What seems solid is but vapor
swirling about an Honesty.
A light long dimmed by fearfulness
and beaded with apostasy.

Press bravely through the inner mist.
Reclaim a wisdom known before.
Light of unconditional love,
resides within forever more.

On the Job

Treat her always with real respect,
and pay her the equivalent
of the male workers, double checked.
Don’t play like you are innocent.

No more reviewing her less than,
bypassing an earned promotion.
End the current “old buddies” clan,
that flusters her job devotion.

Never touch without an invite,
disregard what may have risen,
speak not of sex subjects so trite
that you’ll be flirting with prison.

Those who work need to be secure
from harassment due to gender.
Their fair treatment always assured,
by law, from any offender.

Talk

A few people verbalize thought,
their every idea spoken.
It happens truly quite a lot.
Like a record that is broken.

Affable Creek

A snark came into town,
to speak his sarcasm.
But none gathered around,
no enthusiasm.

So he started to fuss,
jumped in front of a bus.

In memorial park,
we said bye to a snark.
