This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Check the boxes at the top of the page for the Contents, Contact, Forum and other links.
The ones that want it the least will be the ones that give it to all people. Every time they cut the health care roles they add votes to “healthcare for everyone.” It is the greed of the least who want it that will give us healthcare for all in the future. Thank you.
Spiritual growth is the task of each individual. No one can do it for you. As you learn, consciousness expands, and life becomes more desirable. It is not for moral reasons that you grow, it is for self transformation.
Spiritual growth has little to do with insight. It has everything to do with attitude.
The three main attitudes of spiritual growth are:
1. Forgiveness.
2. Non-judgment.
3. Unconditional love.
Forgiveness releases negative emotions of anger, guilt, envy, etc., and provides closure on past events where mistakes may have been made. It clears the path of emotional rubbish, freeing the mind and heart to continue the journey of life. Forgive yourself as well as others.
Non-judgment keeps the negative emotions away. If you don’t condemn, it is not necessary to forgive. The world is large enough for all the things. It is not necessary to have an opinion on everything.
Unconditional love overcomes fear of life, and fear of death. It replaces negative emotions. It brings understanding. You learn to love by practicing it. The page on Love, the healing force will further explain.
The dichotomy of our physical world makes it an ideal environment to grow spiritually. Each day brings its challenges, and achievements. There are no circumstances, or conditions that inhibit growth. It matters not how, rich or poor, young or old, ill or healthy, spiritual growth can be practiced. The rewards are great, why are people waiting?
I’ve written about fear many times, but not too many. Fear is beginning to get the upper hand in more and more people today. Fear is easy to teach. Just tell people something is going to negatively impact their lives and (the teacher) can stop it from happening. It doesn’t matter if it is true. Fear mongers teach fear to change behavior of large numbers of people.
Once you believe the fear, it controls your life. You act in the manner the fear mongers want you to act. Logic and reasoning are forgotten. You think you must do whatever is necessary to stay safe.
There was a time at the beginning of World War II when fear was abundant. We were unprepared and the enemy had attacked us with better war planes and bigger ships. They were dangerously close to our shores.
President Roosevelt said: “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.” He was right, he did not teach fear. You should fear holding fear, it freezes you into none action or illogical action you live to regret. Americans met the challenge by coming together and defeating the enemy.
How quickly we tend to believe information read in newspapers, or heard on TV without due scrutiny and analysis. How often we repeat what politicians, scientists, or others of title say, as if it were truth. We are all truth seekers. Carefully examining what others say is very important. Good knowledge and rational thinking must be used.
