Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Check the boxes at the top of the page for the Contents, Contact, Forum and other links.

Awesome Power of Beliefs

The power of what you believe can not be over emphasized. You create your life through what you believe is true. You can change your life by changing your beliefs. Using affirmations is one way to do it.

The Big Fear

I’ve written about fear many times, but not too many. Fear is beginning to get the upper hand in more and more people today. Fear is easy to teach. Just tell people something is going to negatively impact their lives and (the teacher) can stop it from happening. It doesn’t matter if it is true. Fear mongers teach fear to change behavior of large numbers of people.

Once you believe the fear, it controls your life. You act in the manner the fear mongers want you to act. Logic and reasoning are forgotten. You think you must do whatever is necessary to stay safe.

There was a time at the beginning of World War II when fear was abundant. We were unprepared and the enemy had attacked us with better war planes and bigger ships. They were dangerously close to our shores.

President Roosevelt said: “We have nothing to fear, but fear itself.” He was right, he did not teach fear. You should fear holding fear, it freezes you into none action or illogical action you live to regret. Americans met the challenge by coming together and defeating the enemy.

How quickly we tend to believe information read in newspapers, or heard on TV without due scrutiny and analysis. How often we repeat what politicians, scientists, or others of title say, as if it were truth. We are all truth seekers. Carefully examining what others say is very important. Good knowledge and rational thinking must be used.

Who are these people?

that demand equality for themselves,
      while discriminating against others?

that ask God for forgiveness,
and show intolerance to their neighbor?

that want to be loved,
      but are unwilling to love?

They are us.
      Children of the darkness,
            seeking the light.

Grief

A loved one dies and we feel empty. A large part of our life has vanished, we worry if we could have done something more. Sometimes we feel guilty, depressed, and even angry. Nothing is the same anymore, and nothing can be changed. It is over.

Our loved one has returned to the spirit world. Everyone comes from there and returns to there when the body dies. There is no judgment to endure, no pearly gates, nor lakes of fire. There is only love, unconditional love. We are created in love and live in love and return to love when we pass.

It matters not who we were or what we accomplished. It matters not if we believed in God. All, every soul, returns to the spirit world surrounded by unconditional love. There they review their physical life. Any judgment comes from them, no one else.

We, who are left behind, suffer from grief and worry. Our task is to forgive. Forgive ourselves and all others of any mistakes we may think was made. To send our love to the deceased on their continued journey through life in the spiritual. They are safe and secure, we are safe and secure in the unconditional love of the Creator. Only time will diminish the grief and emptiness. Then, when it is time, we will rejoin our loved ones in the love that never ends.
