Look at Heads of State, Presidents of Countries, Dictators, Ruling Royalty, Capitalists, Potentates, etc., etc., and the enormous power they wield over individuals.
It would be impossible for them to make decisions in favor of everyone. Mainly because individual needs are so variable. Some people need help with everyday living, health care, food, and shelter, in order to survive. Others need space to invent and find better ways of doing things. Some are independent and do well.
How can one man know what decisions to make? They can’t! So they have experienced advisors, strategists, experts, specialists, consultants, and others to help them make the tough decisions.
But occasionally a leader will just make the decisions He wishes to make irregardless of the consequences to individuals. What happens then? Mistrust, misunderstanding, exasperation, and outrage.
We have within us all the power necessary to live fruitful, loving, and satisfying lives. However, most of us don’t tap into our inner resources; we just follow the path others have chosen for us, or take the path of least resistance. Choose your own path, start by taking back your power, gain the necessary knowledge, and find the courage to become yourself. All of us will not be rocket scientists, nor make fortunes in the stock market, but we all have something important to contribute. Find out what you want to bring to this world and pursue it. It is never too late, and you are never too old.

In the physical world all things surrender to the power of water. The hardest rock is worn away, the highest mountain brought down. Water carves up the planet as it wishes, nothing can resist its power. In the spiritual world love is most powerful. It is the energy that holds everything together. Surrender to love. Whosoever surrenders to the power of love, becomes love, becomes power. Love unites, brings together, builds, and expands to surround, and enclose every dark corner of the universe with its brilliant light. Start loving today, yourself and all others. Surrender to the power of love.
