Pumpkin pies sitting in the windows
Hot dressing
Baked yams
Golden corn

Presents neat
Candy sweet
Nestled beneath the radiant pine tree
Wrapped with bright papers and bows
Kids already
Taking boxes
Opening gifts

Adults talking
Eating listens
Reviving friendships of days gone by
By shaking hands, with hug, and cry
Wonderful time
Children’s play
Christmas day
