Sprite

I saw a Wood Sprite
dancing on a leaf.
The more I looked at her
She looked right back at me.

She danced up and down the leaf
a dance I’d never seen.
Then as quickly as she came
she disappeared again.

One bright light, We are the one,
brighter than a million suns.
One voice, calling now for peace,
Pleading for distrust to cease.

One people across the land,
Come together, hand in hand.
Only we can heal our earth,
Bring about complete rebirth.

One love, remove all our fear
from each soul, both far and near.
One soul, image of us all,
Please answer our fervent call.

One light, One thought, One mind,
One love, ever so kind.
One voice, say our prayer,
Bring closure to our despair.
