Why do we listen to those,
who push their beliefs upon us,
alleging they are experts
when we know that is not possible.
You can find them most everywhere
in politics, religion, and science,
spouting opinion and theory
as if it were factual realities.
We could, of course verify
their remarks with our own studies,
searching into the subject of note
which would be the right thing to do.
But sadly, many believe what they
hear, because they trust too much,
and still won’t know the truth
unless they “check it out.”
Don’t believe what an “expert” tells you
until you can collaborate it from
more than one other source. It is good
to hold it in limbo until this is done.
