Life Review

When you enter the spiritual world at the end of your physical life you will have a “life review.” Near death experiencers tell about a life review during their near death experience. This life review does not appear in all NDEs, but seems to happen mostly in those experiences where the individual was in a state of clinical death for more than a few minutes.

The life review is a kind of critique of what you accomplished during your lifetime. It serves as a teaching tool to let you know how well you lived the physical life you chose to live. Your journey through the physical is a school for learning about yourself and others, and the life review shows how well you did in learning to love yourself and others. It can be a happy, joyous reward or it can be emotionally painful and hard to endure depending upon your performance.

The review starts with your physical life passing before you like a movie on a screen. When it comes to a place in your life where you helped someone you get to feel that person’s appreciation and joy, when it comes to a place in your life where you have harmed someone you get to feel that person’s pain and suffering. It is like you become the person you helped or harmed and know exactly how your actions made that person feel at the time.

This life review is not a judgment, it is a teaching tool to let you know how your life on earth affected others. Intention is very important, if you intended to harm another the emotional pain can be intense and long-lasting, but if the harm was accidental, something unintended then the pain is considerable less. Nothing is overlooked, smart remarks, gossip, false witness, and even uncaring attitudes are considered. On the positive side smiles, small favors, and other caring attitudes are rewarded.

Life is for learning. It is not about hoarding money, seeking fame, or becoming powerful. These things are meaningless to the life review, all are treated equally whether you were a saint or a sinner. There are no chosen ones. The life review is effective and complete justice for everyone.

I believe if everyone knew they were eternal and would receive a life review at the end they would become kinder and gentler to others. The review is total truth, no opportunity for rationalizations or justifications of any kind. The deepest part of your feelings are known and considered. There are no secrets to the review.

But the life review is not the real reason to learn to love yourself and others. The real reason is your own well-being. When you walk the path of love you will be more successful, more peaceful, and free of fear. Life will be a joy to live, and happiness, and love will walk besides you always.

How to define success quotes

“He who has achieved success has worked well, laughed often and loved much.”

— Elbert Hubbard

“Too often, people focus only on results. But getting results without learning something or without having fun are incomplete. So is having fun without getting the results, or having fun without learning something new to help and empower you in the future. Accomplishment is all three: the result, personal growth and having fun.”

— Peter L. Hirsch

“There are many aspects to success; material wealth is only one component. …But success also includes good health, energy and enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative freedom, emotional and psychological stability, a sense of well-being, and peace of mind.”

— Deepak Chopra

“You don’t have to stay up nights to succeed; you have to stay awake days.”

Passing the Ball

In the game of football forward progress is made in two ways. You can run with the football, or you can pass the football to someone else in a better position to run it for you. Whether you run or pass often depends on the opposition. I can remember when the University of Oklahoma seldom passed the ball. They relied on the run nearly all the time. This was often called “five yards and a cloud of dust” football. They won six national championships by mostly running the football. But the opposition gradually became tougher and Oklahoma was forced to use a balanced offense, one that included running and passing equally well to win.

In the game of life it is the balanced approach that wins the game most often. We can’t always carry all the burdens of life all the time. We must learn to let others help us. Learn to share our responsibilities. It is just as important to allow others to help us, as it is for us to help others. We can learn from them better ways of handling the problems we meet in the game of life. Sharing our burdens by discussing them in support groups is an excellent way to lighten them. There are free support groups for most everything meeting in the larger cities. You can find them, and when they meet at the local library. It is the wise person that reaches out to others in times of trouble and confusion. “Ask and you will receive, knock and the door will open.”

Then there are times of trouble and confusion so strong it seems no one can helps us. No matter what we do it seems to be wrong, and leads to more worry, anxiety, even depression. These are the times we pass all our burdens into the capable hands of our Creator, the One who loves us unconditionally. He will lift our burdens and make them light. In Him there is peace and rest. Calm waters, and smooth sailing abide within His love. So let go of your cares and woes, your heavy burdens of fear, pass them into His willing hands of light and rest your weary soul within His love.

Our Hearts

The Onesoul presents “Our Hearts” by the Beloved Sis Gisl.

Our Hearts:

Though hearts may break
it is the in the patient mendings
that we can appreciate the
intricacies of the Creators divine workmanship
infinitely fine, yet beautiful strong
sewn with threads of endless love
that will hold thru out eternity.

Although we might not see this now
the difficulties can let us rise so gracefully
above the bonds of sorrow
when others come to us in need
and we remember our own despairs
to help them thru with loving repairs
we then become menders of hearts too.

With their healings we find our own pains subsiding
cuz when they cried it was our tears
and as we look with hearts ever stronger
we see their pains as none other than our own
so in sharing and mending of anothers heart
it is only our own we are lovingly restoring
with both receiving, gaining strength and healing.

With each heart break we understand
that this is just one more around the bend
tis but a road well traveled with many a turns
and protecting our heart only keeps it locked
in a prison of our own sorrow confines
so with open doors we let out our loving light
freeing ourselves for the beauty just up ahead.

What a lovely sight we see with hearts wide open
mended to our souls learning perfection
endless rewards and delights now within reach
and not so alone cuz with renewed strength we know
all the hearts repairs were done with but one thread
connecting all of us to our Creators own
as one beautiful loving heart, eternally strengthened evermore.

Thank you for reading, Blessings & loving hugs, gisl
