Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Check the boxes at the top of the page for the Contents, Contact, Forum and other links.

I saw a bright light

‘I saw a bright light and a beautiful garden… and my baby who’d died’

A new book by Colm Keane examines the experiences of Irish men and women who have had brushes with the afterlife.

In Colm Keane’s new book, The Distant Shore, he speaks to 70 Irish men and women about their near-death journeys, visions and premonitions.

In October 2009 I received hundreds of phone calls, emails and letters from people who had encounters at the edge of death. Many came from Irish Independent readers who were responding to an article I had written about near-death experiences. The article was based on a No 1 bestselling book I had at the time called Going Home.

It’s All About Love

It’s about love from the Light,
shimmering through dark waters.
It’s about gnarled oak trees,
and our sons and daughters.

It’s about grain in the fields,
song birds winging on high.
It’s about cloud drifts moving,
through a soft sapphire sky.

It’s about snow-topped peaks,
and green flecked rolling hills.
It’s about warm starry nights,
and moon-struck whippoorwills.

It’s about all the people,
living in peace everywhere.
It’s about the whole world,
and how much people care.

It’s all about you and me,
how we treat each other.
It’s all about compassion,
as we love one another.

Oneness, Love is All

May we see the Oneness Love in everything and All

No matter who or what may be our call

It’s really quite divinely planned and oh so sweet

Simple or genius, rich or poor, whoever we might meet

Each soul is Love and eternally immortal

Forever connected as God’s creative Love portal

To see the light in oneself shining ever so bright

Check out the reflection within our brethren sight

We’ll know as we clear the haze of worldly perceptions

Thru the actions of loving our neighbors in kind reactions

For they will hold the mirror that we cannot miss

And the clarity will be a joyous beauty we won’t again dismiss

Then we will understand that in everything that we behold

Reflects the All that lives and dwells within so wonderfully bold

As all that we do, think, feel, affects the whole of All that Is

The power and possibility we are is an awesome beautiful biz

If we would take this opportunity right here and now

Our friend, that stranger, is but ourself a different shell than thou

Yes even in the thorns, flowers, storms or rainbow’s colorful adorn

Is but the Oneness Love that holds us all together in perfections born

There is naught a smidgen that we will ever see or even know

That does not have the spark of Oneness Love essence in a forever flow

So may we be blessed to always be aware and lovingly care

For everything we are is us, in Oneness Love we create and eternally share.
