Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Ponder this — Consciousness

Science has been studying the brain for well over 100 years now, and what they have found is not near as important as what they haven’t found. They haven’t found any physical memory, or physical thoughts, or physical emotions, or anything physical associated with consciousness. They have noticed certain areas of the brain “light up” when different aspects of consciousness is active or the brain is stimulated. But brain activity is not consciousness, it is only the footprint of consciousness.

We, me and you, are consciousness and we weren’t created by the brain. I can’t tell you exactly how we were created, but I am pretty sure it had something to do with a higher and greater consciousness than we.

Near Death Experiences have shown that we (our consciousness), and the brain are two separate entities. Research on hundreds of experiences show clear evidence of this separation.

So the next question is how long before mainstream science catches up with the research being done in a dozen universities around the country and the world. How long before they give up their futile search for something that doesn’t exist in the brain.

Ponder this — Skepticism

There are people who say there is no God, or spiritual world, and that all religion is mythology because there is no way to scientifically prove it exists. They call themselves skeptics. Yet skeptics, at least most of them, do believe in things that can’t be proven scientifically. They believe in scientific theories such as the theory of evolution, the big bang theory, and the theory that our consciousness was created by our brain. But there is no real proof that these theories are true, that is why they call them theories. Are they real skeptics or just people with an agenda. Seems to me real skeptics would be skeptical about anything that could not be proven. Not just a few choice items. Ponder this.

The Beginning

There is a lot of concern about our beginnings these days. The debate between creation and evolution is heating up. I don’t really know how this world began, or how we humans began. I do believe the Bible creation story is mostly mythology, and I dismiss the science explanation as not logical to assume life started by random, then became ordered out of nowhere at some time undetermined. Or the universe was created by a big bang randomly, then became ordered out of nowhere at some time undetermined. Did you know that all the fossil remains used to described the accent of man will fit into the back of a pickup truck.

I just need more before I believe, I need personal experience, I want to see it happen.

Here is another thought from a different dimension. I am a spiritual person in contact with the spiritual dimension of life. I am told by the spiritual world that we created this earth and universe, then came to live on it for a physical experience, it was supposed to be fun, but we forgot who we were, got lost in the intensity, and well, one thing led to another.
