My NDE was Caused by Me.
Hi, my near death experience was caused by me.I was 40 years old, the mother of 2 children, going through a divorce and suffering from a condition not yet diagnosed. Everything I loved had been taken from me and I was alone. So I took about 30 pain pills and 30 or so sleeping pills, washed them down with vodka.
By the time the paramedics got to me I was unresponsive. When they got me into the ambulance I was already floating above my body. I remember thinking, wow that's really got to hurt the way they are pounding on her body. I felt no pain and no attachment to my body. I felt really good. I felt happy and free. I remember a short trip in the ambulance and that's it.
The next thing I remember is being in a coma. I was on life support, but could hear and see everything going on around me. My father walked into the room and said: "Oh just look what she's done now to embarrass us". I will never forget that.
I could feel my daughter touch me, and feel her tears drop on my skin. I cried at the same time. It took me over a year to want to live after that. I was diagnosed with being extreme Bi-Polar, and finally I now have the proper medications 6 years later.
On a happier note, I now have the life I only dreamed of before. Thank You.
