Hello!<\/p>\n

My name is Andy Harley. I’m 28-years-old
\nand from Frederick, MD.<\/p>\n

As a small dedication to your nice site,
\nI would like to share with you a poem that
\nI’ve written entitled, “My True Home”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

MY TRUE HOME<\/p>\n

Drawn into tangible darkness,
\nRushing high speed through a tunnel.
\nI’m somewhere between two worlds
\nSpiraling like water through a funnel.<\/p>\n

I see a pinpoint of light in the distance,
\nGrowing larger the closer I get.
\nBut for some strange reason I’m not afraid?
\nAnd see it not as being a threat.<\/p>\n

Entering into a realm so soothing
\nOf radiant, golden-white light,
\nPeace and warmth pours over my spirit,
\nIt’s so beautifully — beautifully bright.<\/p>\n

Moving with the flow of fine silk,
\nMy translucent body glows;
\nLike thousands of tiny diamonds
\nThey sparkle and superimpose.<\/p>\n

A floodgate of knowledge has been opened,
\nWith infinite waves of love;
\nThere’s a pageantry of dramatic colors here
\nThat just could never be dreamed of?<\/p>\n

I see miraculous mountains of deep blue velvet
\nAnd spectacular valleys galore;
\nA waterfall dazzles with clarity and life,
\nThis Elysian area I’d love to explore!<\/p>\n

Drifting next into a garden,
\nWith swaying grass so crisp, cool, and green;
\nThe luminescent flowers pulsate,
\nTheir shades so completely serene;<\/p>\n

I hear music playing of harmonic beauty
\nThat rolls like a glassy river.
\nEnchanting, mystical tones,
\nThat would make any man alive shiver.<\/p>\n

Then suddenly, I see someone in the distance,
\nComing towards me to reunite.
\nThis whistling person’s emanating glow,
\nIs such a comforting and glorious sight?<\/p>\n

When I can finally distinguish who it is,
\nI realize it’s my Grandpap Jack.
\nHe tells me that it’s not yet my time,
\nAnd that I must now . . . go back.<\/p>\n

I could stay an eternity at this divine place
\nFrom just these few things that I’ve been shown;
\nBut I know one great day for sure I’ll be back,
\nBecause I believe this is my true home.<\/p>\n

I was given the wonderful opportunity of
\nhaving my book of 62 poems,
\n“Till The Dreaming’s Done: Poems
\nCrafted For Thinking People”
\n(ISBN 1-4137-8232-9) published this year,
\nand this is actually one of the poems
\nthat can be found in my book.<\/p>\n

I was wondering if you would ever
\nmaybe consider posting my poem
\nsomewhere … anywhere … on aleroy.com?
\nIt would be an absolute honor for me to
\nshare just this one thing of mine with
\n whole plethora of good people strewn
\nthroughout this great big world of ours.
\nIf you would possibly consider doing this
\nfor me, I would be forever grateful.<\/p>\n
