Now when I lay me down to die,<\/span><\/span>\r\ngive no pity, feel no sorrow.<\/span><\/span>\r\nThere is no need for one to cry<\/span><\/span>\r\n\u2018cause I won\u2019t be here tomorrow.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nI\u2019ve lived life for a long, long time,<\/span><\/span>\r\nlearning to do what\u2019s good and right.<\/span><\/span>\r\nI\u2019ve made me mark, written me rhyme,<\/span><\/span>\r\nI'm set to take that final flight.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nI\u2019ve touched the hem of death before,<\/span><\/span>\r\nby heart attack I ceased to be.<\/span><\/span>\r\nI\u2019ve seen another distant shore,<\/span><\/span>\r\nthrough me face-to-face NDE\u00b9<\/span><\/span>.\r\n\r\nThe spirit world is golden light, <\/span><\/span>\r\nfilled with care, compassionate love.<\/span><\/span>\r\nIts total blessing hugs you tight,<\/span><\/span>\r\nleaving no doubt you\u2019re part thereof.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nThe Park\u00b2 has opulent green grass,<\/span><\/span>\r\ndotted with brilliant rainbow flowers,<\/span><\/span>\r\ntables, and chairs like polished brass<\/span><\/span>\r\na place to couch for endless hours.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nDeep blue water flows in small stream,<\/span><\/span>\r\nponds with fountains create a breeze.<\/span><\/span>\r\nAround The Park\u2019s utmost extreme,<\/span><\/span>\r\nare dwellings built for all to please.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nCrystal buildings house libraries,<\/span><\/span>\r\nfor the pursuit of all knowledge.<\/span><\/span>\r\nRooms of learned commentaries,<\/span><\/span>\r\nmore than any earthly college.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nA Hall of Records\u00b3 contains the past,<\/span><\/span>\r\nthe deeds of all souls ever been,<\/span><\/span>\r\nfor us to know, from first to last,<\/span><\/span>\r\na worthy work kept safe therein.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nMuseums, mansions, field for games,<\/span><\/span>\r\nschools <\/span><\/span>for <\/span><\/span>keeping <\/span><\/span>me<\/span><\/span> reverent.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\"Like earth it seems to be the same,<\/span><\/span>\r\nyet it is very different\u00b9\u00b9.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nI could be someone's spirit guide\u00b2\u00b2,<\/span><\/span>\r\nto help them navigate their life.<\/span><\/span>\r\nI might play watcher\u00b3\u00b3 on the side,<\/span><\/span>\r\nhelping the gifted with their strife.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nMany, many roles to choose from,<\/span><\/span>\r\nmuch work of love to carry through.<\/span><\/span>\r\nI could pose an effort outcome,<\/span><\/span>\r\nand then relax, let love accrue.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nEverywhere light, the source of love,<\/span><\/span>\r\npermeating bright through and through.<\/span><\/span>\r\nBringing compassion from above,<\/span><\/span>\r\nlove and caring for me and you.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nNaught to serve, everywhere to serve,<\/span><\/span>\r\nnaught to learn, everything to learn,<\/span><\/span>\r\nfreedom of choice that all deserve,<\/span><\/span>\r\nthe greatest gift of life to earn.<\/span><\/span>\r\n\r\nSo when I lay me down to die,<\/span><\/span>\r\ngrieve for thyself, I will not roam,<\/span><\/span>\r\nwe shall meet again, in the bye, <\/span><\/span>\r\nnot to worry,  I\u2019m going home. \r\n\r\nLekatt<\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n
