This is the best explanation of enlightenment I have read. It comes from: <\/font>Emmanuel’s Book II, The Choice for Love<\/em> compiled by Pat Rodegast and Judith Stanton. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.<\/font><\/p>\n

‘What is enlightenment?’<\/font><\/p>\n

Everything and nothing.
\nLet me see if I can find another way to put this.
\nIf I say to you: “enlightenment is all-knowing,”
\nthen I limit enlightenment.
\nIf I say “enlightenment is all-loving,”
\nI limit love.
\nThere can be no beginning and no end
\nand the human vocabulary is rife with limitation.<\/font><\/p>\n

So let us say that enlightenment
\nis being in the moment through eternity
\nwithout the intellect
\nbut with the consciousness of all things.
\nIt is absolute peace
\nwithout the awareness of non-peace.<\/font><\/p>\n

It is absolute love
\nwithout the awareness of hate.<\/font><\/p>\n

It is all things without end
\nhaving forgotten the illusion of ending.<\/font><\/p>\n

It is bliss
\nwithout the memory of non-bliss.<\/font><\/p>\n

It is simply ‘is-ness’.
\nIt is you
\nwithout your physicality
\nwithout your personality
\nwithout your clothes on
\nwithout your obstructions
\nwithout your fears,
\nwithout your limitations and boundaries
\nwithout even the consciousness of self
\nexcept as the boundless perceiver
\nof infinite Light.<\/font><\/p>\n

And that doesn’t even begin to describe it
\nbut it is the best I can do at the moment.<\/font><\/p>\n
