I remember once an orthodox Jew said to me: If you even just SMILE at someone on the street you can be sure it will have an effect you may never know about. That smile could change everything for them and go on to affect their whole lives - you of course will never know about it.  But the Lord will know.

I've never forgotten what he said. So if you think about it, your kindness to that disabled person is a lot more than a smile!
