Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Check the boxes at the top of the page for the Contents, Contact, Forum and other links.

A kindness

A kindness is an act of love. Strangers helping strangers because there is a need. It happens all over the world millions of times a day. Kindness from opening the door for strangers too feeding and sheltering them. There are many good people in this world, never believe the whole world is like the news or movies.

We don’t have snow very often where I live, but last winter we had eight inches of snow fall overnight on a workday. When it snows I become the driver to work for the family. It wasn’t too bad, just stay in the ruts and avoid the deep stuff.

After dropping off the last one, I turned for home. It was still dark and hard to see. At the first corner I turned too sharp and found myself stuck in the deep snow. Great! Here I am seven miles from home, tires spinning, going nowhere.

To my right was a large empty parking lot. I noticed a car seemed to be parking close to the street where I was stuck in he snow. Two men jumped out and ran to my car. They tried to push my car out of the snow, but it was too deep. Then a Van pulled up beside my car and a man got out, talked to the other men, and attached a tow strap to my car and used his Van to pull my car out of the snow bank. The men talked again then got into their vehicles and drove off. I yelled out at them: “Thank you and God Bless.” People are great. Life is good.

Lonely

Send me your light
I can’t take more
heal my affright
help me ashore.

I drift along
lost in the storm
play me your song
I’m so forlorn.

Guide me to be
free from all doubt
loving as thee
always devout.

Angels above
sing me your song
teach me with love
I will be strong.

“You Light Up My Life”

One of the top five songs that stopped me cold to listen until finished. I was in my car going when this song came on the radio, I pulled over to listen. I love this song, it reaches deep inside me to something beautiful and makes me cry.
