Welcome

This blog is more than an account of Near Death Experiences. It ponders in detail the tough questions of life. Who are you, and why are you here in this physical world? What happens when you die, and is there a judgment? However, most anything could appear here. This is not a news blog, archived posts are just as relevant as new posts. Pandemic!!!

I don’t know what can be said about the Coronavirus Pandemic that has not already been said a hundred times. The subject has been on the minds of most everyone. The information coming from multiple sources is confusing and contradictory. I don’t know what to believe. An atmosphere of intense fear has been created. But fear is not needed in moments of national stress. What we need is resolve. Calm, careful, realistic, and practical advice gets our country through the crisis. Not fear. Take a deep breath, we will get through this as we did other panics. I keep fear at bay by saying an affirmation as needed.

“I am safe and secure, I am completely safe and secure, I am wholly safe and secure, I am forever safe and secure.”

The Purpose of Life

Near Death Experiences reveal we live after our physical death, and that our lives are full of meaning and purpose. They show us the spiritual world is our real home. We come here by choice to learn about ourselves and to gain knowledge for our spiritual future.

In the physical world we learn the alphabet, so we can put letters together to form words. Those who master large numbers of words can communicate quickly and efficiently with others. Research shows the bigger the vocabulary, the better the chance one has to become successful.

In the spirit world it is thoughts we learn about. The physical world provides the teaching for us. Here we see our thoughts in action, our hopes and desires, as well as our fears, unfolding before us even as we think about them. Thought translates into reality, how fast this happens depends on the intensity and frequency of the thought. “We are what we think.” is truth.

We are learning to understand the importance of thinking, focusing thought into useful constructive ideas, and beliefs for the benefit of ourselves and others. Some call this positive thinking, spiritual people call it learning to love. Love is the tool to gain spiritual growth. The more you love the greater the growth.

When we give up the negative thoughts and start working with loving ourselves and others, many wonderful things happen. We can understand things better, gain knowledge quicker, and live peaceful, stress free lives. It is not an easy path, but it is worth the extra effort.

Start today to honor your thoughts with the importance they deserve. Listen to yourself, notice how others react to you. Make adjustments in your thinking to help yourself. Read positive books, do positive affirmations, listen to positive thoughts, and replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts.

While the physical world can be really tough at times, it is always safe. The Higher Intelligence (God) that created it, and you, is always there within it all. Learning to love will open the door of communication, and understanding will flow to you from the Love. You will reap what you sow.

You are always held, safe and secure, in God’s Love. No matter what others may think of you. No matter what you may think of yourself. God loves you. You can not fall from His grace. Love is your eternal birthright. You can not lose it. It is endless.

God loves you more than you realize, more than you can imagine while in physical form. He sets no limits or conditions. His Love is unconditional. You don’t have to do anything, believe anything, or be anyone special to deserve it. You are His perfect child, in whom He is well pleased.

Religion and/or Spirit

There is an immense difference between religion, and spirit. Religion preaches a set of rules, commandments, rituals, and procedures. How, where, when and what to worship, as well as, what to wear, and eat while you are doing it. All enforced by the interpretation of sacred literature. Is this bad? No, of course not, there is room in this world for all religions, and each presents its uniqueness as a learning experience.

Spirit is what/who you are. Some are born knowing about their spiritual nature, others discover spirit during their life time, and still others are unable to discover spirit due to their narrow belief systems. Spirit has no limits, everything you see, and touch is spirit. No sacred literature, all things are sacred, it is what we are.

Most religions do teach the path to spirit, but this path has become overgrown with obstacles of compliance to the religion. The rules, and rituals have covered the path. Jesus taught spirit, and following His teachings will lead to discovery of spirit. He taught unconditional love, and that is the path to spirit.

Whoa!

Our society is heating up, going faster and faster. Work fast. Eat fast food. Fast on-line shopping, gaming, banking, whatever. Package delivery in one day. Hurry, hurry, hurry is the key word. More people gulping “energy drinks” full of caffeine.

With this rush to compete comes some downers. Anxiety, stress, panic, nervousness, and finally mental breakdowns. Our bodies are not designed to keep such a pace for long periods of time.

Back-off, relax a little, and remember you are an eternal being with all eternity to live and achieve your goals. Listen to readings. Take time to do or listen to affirmations. Schedule do-nothing days. You will feel better and work more efficiently instead of faster.
